Kanazawa Music Bar

Fantastic time at this place. Bartender Shion Sasaki is a master of mixology. Super friendly and accommodating. Moscow Mules, Salty Dogs, Gin and Tonics. We introduced him to the mint Julip which I think he really appreciated. I also discovered Blanton’s Bourbon. We ordered the seafood bouillabaisse and it was awesome. The atmosphere was great. The speakers were great to look at although I thought the sound could have used a tiny bit more bass. Overall it’s a great spot to grab some drinks and a little food. Make sure to stop here if you’re ever in Kanazawa.

The pasta comes out at noon, but the taste is not special.It is a beautiful shop, but it feels rather cold. The staff were good people.I do not advertise much, so it may be better to enter if there is a crowd of nearby Starbucks.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. We were guests at the hotel and actually changed our dinner plans due to the excellent music (and sound system) - great food and drinks too.

Great music, chilled atmosphere!

This is a wonderful bar with music from a new record inside the store. There is just a Music Bar, and there are big speakers and a dedicated staff for music. The inside of the shop where you can feel the warmth of wood is easy to enter. The woodwork seen from the counter is beautiful and seems to be a custom-made product commissioned to a famous craftsman. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy a drink while relaxing on the outside sofa. The upper floor is a hotel and can be used by guests. Lunch is available and it is good for cafe use. I tried it on a course with all-you-can-drink at night, but the food was also delicious and I was satisfied with enough volume. I want to go again

Great music, cool design and good vibes.

Probably one of the main reason I chose to stay in Kaname Inn Tatemachi is because of Kanazawa Music Bar’s sound system. Not sure where else I can listen to amazing 70-80ish playlist through McIntosh amplifier from a raw source. I just wished they played more songs like Tatsuhiro Yamashita’s. I was impressed with their soybean tiramisu when I went there last year, but it seems like they don’t have it anymore. So we decided to get the matcha pudding, but surprisingly it was very nice too!

Amazing sound system, superb interior, good selection of drinks and great hospitality. Definately Kanazawa's one of the best bars.

Opened 6 months ago. A designer's dream lounge topped off with a vinyl DJ (!!!), fancy sound system, amazing music (groovy, with a chill beat), and warm, welcoming staff. Ladies can also borrow fluffy soft lap blankets when it's cold!!!

以前、旅行で金沢に行った際に利用しました。アナログの音にこだわったバーです。と言っても、私が行ったときは特別なイベント等はなく、普通に皆お酒や食事や会話を楽しんでいました。

When you just want to chill out

The decor is modern with a focus on oak. Furthermore, there was a lattice at the back of the counter, and it was slightly different from the others.The Noto pork curry steak was delicious with the broth coming out of the inside. The price is 980 yen and conscientious.

In the daytime it is bright and has a sense of freedom. I can relax.I want to go evening at night. I also think that the atmosphere is different.

Great food, I highly recommend the salmon pasta. The atmosphere is great too, never seen live vinyls being played like this before!

Fantastic new building in the area - with an amazing music bar on the first floor home to a selection of DJ's every night playing their own styles or from the extensive collection along the walls! Perfect place to stay or at the very least go and enjoy a drink!

Bar with a chilled vibe - at least on a Monday night. Great selection of Japanese craft gin and accompanying snacks (great cheese board selection). Music provided great atmosphere.

We found this bar as we were staying at the hotel and just loved it. We loved the trendy wood decor and intimate and cozy tables. The wall of vinyl records was the center show piece and point of difference. The music playing was a mix of 70s - 90s and the DJ played many an old favourite that you couldn’t help but hum along to or dance in your seat. The cocktails during happy hour (6-8pm) were fantastic and incorporated local ingredients. The menu was more of a Western style and while the dishes were small serves, they were absolutely delish. Mains ranged from 1300 - 1800 yen. Polite and English speaking staff with English and Japanese menus. Highly recommend a few drinks and dinner at this bar. Only problem is that they are closed on Wednesdays!

Brilliant place, really good music for those with a mellow chilled persuasion.

We only had drinks at the afternoon time, cozy and lovely taste. What I most like was a pinpong table we could enjoy before getting drinks.

I wanted to drink a little more at the third party.I listened to the record through a large speaker, so it felt like a warm tone that I couldn't say, and I felt really good with some sickness.I drank a local beer on this day, but next time I will have a cocktail.

Amazing music and bar, and execellent food and staff too! I pretty much never leave reviews but really felt I should this time as this place is such a find and should get the recognition it deserves!
